When looking at creating our magazine we created a few different styles to see what would work best.
The first one although it looks like a successful magazine, it does not fit the conventions of a short film double page spread, it looks more like a typical article, also the amount of text in the first one was minimal and didn’t allow us to add in much information about the short film and complete a convention.
the second was more of a style over content, the look of the magazine is my own preference however the magazine looks more like a fashion magazine double page spread, there is also little synergy with the rest of my media texts.
The last photograph is something that I think would work well within a magazine, in my next attempt of creating the magazine I will try and figure out how to add this image in, as I think it could create a strong main photograph.
