Ophelia – Filming

We originally planned to use 3 litres of milk to create a milky bath scene, when looking into the effect this would actually create we decided against it and went for baby milk powder so we could control the density and opacity of the bath.

The bath scene went as well as planned however we originally planned to use the gimbal but when leaning over the water the gimbal was slightly tricky to use and could be quite risky, therefore we just used hand held shots.

The next part was to add the flowers into the scene, Our media teacher Mrs Heryet kindly picked us some flowers from her garden which we used to make our bath scene look to be from the pre-Raphaelite era. the filming of the scene also went better than expected however we did have a few things go wrong such as the mise-en-scene; Eleanor without her makeup on. (Eleanor nearly fainting).
